Kate Thacker Home

This project started with a name and a blank page. On identity projects like this, I always design the logo mark first, which in this case is a gold K with a slanted T. The brand’s look is based on Kate’s personal style, which is mid-century modern with a twist of art deco. Once the icon and logotype are set, then we solidify the color palette and stationery. Kate was especially great to work with on this project because she already had mood boards and pins she’d collected. Since then, we’ve created social media content, a holiday printed card and a squarespace website.
